MPD Post-NSO Events
FAITH AND FINANCE
Faith & Finance is a dynamic six-week Biblical stewardship course tailored for Cru missionaries. It is held online in both a personal study and small group format. You will also get to meet with a Cru stewardship coach one on one to get input, encouragement, and practical steps to apply all you have learned.
For the most part, those in Winter & Spring NSO will participate in F&F October-November, while those in Summer & Fall NSO will be in the February-March F&F. You will receive an email regarding registration in either late August or early January.
MPD REFRESH RETREAT (MPDRR)
Prior to NSO and during NSO you learned about Part 2 of your MPD Training, the MPD Refresh Retreat (MPDRR) which takes place about 12 weeks after NSO. This is a “retreat” not a conference. It will minister to your heart to be around like-minded new staff who are all going through this unique MPD faith venture. When you leave the retreat our prayer is that you would be encouraged and better equipped to complete this initial stage of MPD.
New Staff are actually exempted when they reach 90% in hand monthly by a certain date before the start of the MPDRR. This date will be communicated to you in the initial registration email. New Staff who reach 90% before the deadline are still welcome to come.
MPDRR has three objectives:
• Help you continue to develop the necessary MPD skills for a lifetime of ministry
• Experience rich community with other new staff who are on the same MPD journey
• Be refreshed with teaching from God’s Word
